Dr. Prasun Sanyal is an alumnus of prestigious R.G. Kar Medical College, Kolkata (2005-2011). His academic career is decorated with a multitude of accolades & distinctions. His exceptional aptitude & remarkable proficiency in core subjects had been acknowledged through his attainment of Gold Medals in Physiology & Pathology, Silver medal in Pharmacology & Prosectorship in Physiology & Pathology, and Honours in Pharmacology .

He cleared the immensely competitive AIPGME 2012 in first attempt with a prestigious rank, securing seat in Orthopedics & pursued his post graduation at BMC from 2012-2015.

After completion of his Post Graduation in July 2015, he was subsequently selected as a Senior Resident in the Department of Orthopedics at R.G. Kar Medical College. During this two-year period, he gained invaluable experience in primary and complex trauma surgery.

He was promoted as a Faculty in the Department of Orthopedics at CMSDH, where he continued his professional journey for an additional four years. During his stint, he developed a keen interest in the domain of Arthroplasty.

In pursuit of his passion and driven by a commitment to further excel in the domain of Arthroplasty, Dr. Sanyal successfully cracked the elite “Fellowship Entrance Test” (FET 2020), where he secured a coveted seat in the “FNB Arthroplasty” programme at the prestigious Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital & Research Centre in Pune under the tutelege of Legendary arthroplasty duo Dr. Hemant Wakankar and Dr. Mahesh Kulkarni.

He attained rigorous and specialised training in Arthroplasty, focusing on Primary, Complex Primary, Revision & Robotic Total Hip and Knee replacement. Throughout his training, Dr. Prasun Sanyal actively participated in all aspects of patient care, from meticulous planning and pre-operative counselling to skillful surgical interventions & comprehensive post-operative management. He is dedicated to provide personalized and compassionate care to each patient, ensuring the best possible outcomes.

His extensive training and expertise in the domain of Arthroplasty have positioned him as a distinguished and highly skilled surgeon. He has dedicated years to perfecting his craft, gaining comprehensive knowledge honing his surgical skills & finesse.
